Structure


Base in round tube Ø 16 x 2 mm, with assembly frame in flat steel 25 x 8 mm.
 

 

Surface structure


Chrome-plated as standard, optionally powder-coated to match the BRUNE® collection.
Please note that powder coating, particularly on the strut (models 1318 - 1319), can be damaged by use and is therefore excluded from the warranty.
 

Seat shell


Ergonomically shaped plastic shell made of polypropylene in a 2-component sandwich structure with high glass fibre reinforcement, which is particularly characterised by its high level of seating comfort and full recyclability. The seat shell is made from 50% recycled material.

Upholstery


Fabric cover of your choice from BRUNE® fabric group 3, 4, 6, 7 or 8.
Seat cushion: 15 mm, RG 60 / SH 70
Fully upholstered: 15 mm, RG 57/ SH 60
(SG = specific gravity, CH = compression hardness)

 

Armrests upholstery


Armrests optionally padded, 200 mm long. Fabric cover according to the BRUNE® collection, fabric categories 3, 4, 6, 7 or 8. In case of padded armrests stackability is limited.

Prof. Matthias Rexforth

Prof. Matthias Rexforth

Matthias Rexforth (born 1963) studied product design at the University of Kassel and received his diploma in 1994. In 1995, he founded his atelier x_products and since then he has designed furniture for national and international companies. Since 2003, he holds a chair for Interior Design at the FH Aachen. His work for BRUNE were, among others, awarded with the Red Dot Award.
Matthias Rexforth is lives and works in Krefeld.
