Frame

Model 4250:
Table without frame (wheelchair suitable), table feet of solid beech from ca. 56 mm to 35 mm tapered. Connected to the table top via steel crossbeam made of 5mm sheet steel.

Model 4260 + Model 4265:
Table without frame, table feet of solid beech from ca. 47 mm auf 28 mm tapered. Connected to the table top via steel crossbeam made of 5mm sheet steel. The Coffee table 4260 + 4265 models receive Ø 60 cm and Ø 70 cm with round plates, three frame feet, the pebble-shaped plates receive 4 feet.

 

Frame surfaces

Table feet standard natural coloured, optionally stained according to BRUNE® collection.Steel crossbeam with HPL coating powder coated in white, with veneer coating powder coated in black.

 

Table tops

Plate C: 30 mm thick, high-quality multi-layer plywood plate E1, top surface optionally covered with HPL plastic or wood veneer according to the BRUNE ® collection. Lower surface white HPL or beech veneer. Straight edge, 2 mm thick, in material to match table top (plastic for plastic, veneer for veneer).

Plate R: 30 mm thick, 28 mm strong multi-layered plywood, surface coated in highpressure laminate (HPL) or veneer according to BRUNE ® collection. Lower surface: HPL white or beech veneer. Edges multi layered plywood, straight edges, 9 mm thick, beveled over 45 mm.

Model 4250:  Table top corners are rounded R50 mm.
Model 4260 + Model 4265: Table top corners are rounded R80 mm.

 

Veneer finish

Wooden feet beechwood, standard with natural varnish, with low-solvent water-based varnish, optionally stained according to BRUNE® collection. Real veneer from BRUNE® collection standard with natural varnish, with low-solvent water-based varnish, optionally stained according to BRUNE ® collection.

 

HPL surfaces

Resopal®-HPL from the BRUNE® collection.

 

Gliders

Optionally, the table can be equipped with plastic, felt or metal gliders.

Uwe Sommerlade

Uwe Sommerlade (born 1961) is the son of a civil engineer, and as such had early discovered his passion for design. He has already been sitting in the office of his father when he was a child, and there he drafted his first houses and objects. In his youth, he learned dealing with wood in the cabinet-making of his grandfather. After his Abitur and the successful completion of his apprenticeship as cabinet maker, he started studying design in Kassel. In 1991, he founded the office Lepper Schmidt Sommerlade designer with two partners there. Since then he has developed internationally successful products for renowned companies. After the death of Christian Lepper in 2011, he founded his own studio.
National and international awards confirm the quality of his work.
Uwe Sommerlade is lives and works in Kassel.
