LOU
Met LOU presenteert BRUNE® een loungestoel met een heel bijzondere toets. De uitnodigende bekleding op een gepolijst, in hoogglans verchroomd of zwart epoxi mat gelakt onderstel met draaibare kolom, naar keuze met verstelmechanisme, doet LOU er aangenaam en comfortabel, maar toch niet omvangrijk uitzien. Het modern, sportief en strak design en de grote kussens garanderen een aangename zitervaring. De kleur van het ziten nekkussen zorgen voor een opvallend accent. De gebruiker krijgt door middel van een persoonlijke kleurencompositie de mogelijkheid om LOU een heel persoonlijke toets te geven.
Frame
Column shaft Ø 55 mm, turnable, attached with screws to base. Spokes of the base made from tapering flat steel bars, approx. 40 mm high, 12 mm thick. Column pipe with welded cross-beam fitting for the screw connection of the seat shell.
Frame with adjustment mechanism
Column shaft Ø 55 mm, turnable, attached with screws to base. Spokes of the base made from tapering flat steel bars, approx. 40 mm high, 12 mm thick. Rotary column with a plug-in cone to adjust the seat angle, strength: approx. 25 mm, featuring an interior ball bearing. Allows the easy and noise-free rotation of fthe upper section. Adjustment mechanism with a chrome-plated lever (strength: 12 mm) that runs parallel to the seat shell. Continuously variable in a range between 0 and 15 degrees.

Upholstery support featuring a steel frame and support plate, coated and covered with polyurethane cold foam and cotton wool.

Uwe Sommerlade
Uwe Sommerlade (geb. in 1961) ontdekte als zoon van een bouwkundig ingenieur al vroeg zijn passie voor ontwerpen. Als kind zat hij al in het kantoor van zijn vader en ontwierp hij zijn eerste huizen en voorwerpen. In de meubelmakerij van zijn grootvader leerde hij als tiener met hout omgaan. Na zijn eindexamen en een met succes afgeronde opleiding tot meubelmaker, studeerde hij design in Kassel. In 1991 richtte hij hier met twee partners het ontwerpbureau Lepper Schmidt Sommerlade designer op. Sindsdien ontwikkelt hij voor gerenommeerde bedrijven internationaal succesvolle producten. Na het overlijden van Christian Lepper richtte hij in 2011 zijn eigen studio op.
Nationale en internationale designprijzen vormen het bewijs voor de kwaliteit van zijn werk.
Uwe Sommerlade woont en werkt in Kassel.
